Very good value for money, nice little hotel, room was spotless
no internet available in spite of website information and no attempt at having this fixed
That I could smoke inside my room and TV :)
I was audibility, it was hard to fall asleep.
It was very comfortable, clean and ideally situatied. We only stayed overnight as we where travelling onwards to Italy.
Everything was very good
The location was excellant for access to all the major sights which were within walking distance. The room was clean and reasonably spacious. For the type of hotel it met our requirements.
It was very noisy as all rooms overlook the reception area. Your sleep is disturbed by people returning to the hostal late at night.
Clean rooms, location at easy distance to main city center. 24hrs open with guard.
great location clean perfect value for many
I loved the staff. The front desk lady, Macarena, was wonderful with us. She was as helpful as someone could be. My daugther wanted to ride horses and Macarena made it happen for her. The cleaning lady was also sweet and humble. The hostal was very close to everything we wanted to see in Seville. The rooms were clean and the bathrooms had just been totally renovated. This is a great place to stay, I cann't wait to go back!!! Great value for the cost!!! We liked Seville and the hostal so much that we stayed an extra night!
I wish they had a computer and internet service. The good thing was that the owner of this hostal has another hostal one block away and the other hostal did have computer and internet.
Near to city center in a calm street. Rooms simple but comfortable.
Not too easy to get there with public transport.
Friendly, helpful staff. Cleanliness. Quiet. Location. Water pressure good. Wouldn't need or expect more from a budget hotel
Wifi is fine to check mail but it drops out if doing longer work. No lift.
The location was good near buses and handy for walks down river and into parks.
The rooms were very small and onto a central area with some noise from people coming and going.
Its location is about it. Staff was pleasant and friendly, though fairly limited English. Free wifi though so just bust out the translation app and should be good to go.
The whole thing seemed very janky. It was like Macgyver had been doing all the repairs in my room for years. Room was super small and shower was being held up with black electrical tape, I kid you not. Othesr have mentioned that the windows all face into the building and not the outside. It didn't seem like a big deal when reading reviews but practical application is a different story. The AC/Heat is central for the entire building so it's either hot as hell or really cold, not a lot of in between. I would not stay here again and would not recommend it to anyone. For the cost there are much better accommodations in the area.
The price: it was cheap.
The three-person room we got was very basic but fine, the main problem was that it really smelled of old tobacco.
Excellent value for money, friendly helpful staff, lovely clean and comfortable room, air conditioning (turned on by staff when you got back to your room)
The second night the air conditioning was not on during the night, so we were rather uncomfortable - had we realised this, we would have opened the window earlier!
It was close to everything, and it basically met our needs for a place to stay for our visit to the city. They let us eat in the rooms. We did not ask and they did not say anything.
The street noises echoed loudly but it is part of living in this city. We could have done without the loud man who hung out in the reception area. He talked nonstop and the sound carried throughout the whole building. The bathroom windows opened into the main area. Very difficult to find our hotel back. The streets are like a maze. Part of the experience I would think. Oh, parking was pathetic. The place they advised was full and the one we did find was very pricy!
The room was brand new from the remake they are doing. It is simple but cozy, clean and comfortable. There was no safe in the room, but the manager, a very helpful girl, transmited such a solid confidence that it left being a problem and I just locked my values in my suitcase. The staff would help us finding atractions in the city and provided safety hints as well. This hostal is very very well located, near the center of Sevilla and other important visiting places. The cost/benefit was really worthy.
It was not a really big problem in this particular case, but no one spoke English at this Hostal.
